It is not an object. It has no material, no name; it belongs neither to the real nor to the virtual. It is pure conceptual tension. In a culture ruled by production and accumulation, an act of resistance: a collectible impossible to own – even to desire – according to the traditional codes of consumption. It manifests itself through this text, through the conversations it sparks and the questions it generates. Its immateriality does not make it unreal; it simply shifts its reality from the physical to the conceptual. A design made of thought which, by renouncing physical presence, gains value and symbolic strength. Can a non-existent project be sold? It is an absence full of questions. A non-object, or perhaps the most necessary object of our time: one that makes us pause, reminding us that not everything has to be produced, owned, consumed.
